Settlers attacked Israeli security forces attempting to enter two illegal outposts near a West Bank community.

Four border policemen and 11 residents of the Yitzhar community were injured in Thursday’s clashes.

The police were attempting to post evacuation orders at the outposts and demolish an illegal structure. The Yitzhar residents attempted to lock the police inside the gates of the community and punctured their tires.

Several hundred teens and adults from Yitzhar and surrounding communities came to the outposts to harass the police; eight were arrested.

Also Thursday, Israel’s Supreme Court issued an injunction prohibiting the continued building and occupation of nine homes in the West Bank community of Ofra, according to the Arutz-7 news service. Two Israeli human rights organizations and local Arabs filed a lawsuit earlier this month claiming the land belonged to the Arabs.

Ofra representatives told the court that the homes have been completed and are occupied, according to the Ha’aretz newspaper.
