(JTA) — Israel’s Cabinet approved a plan to protect Israeli passenger jets from terror strikes.
Under the detailed plan approved Wednesday, passenger jets of Israeli aviation companies will be equipped with defensive systems that have been developed by Israeli security industries. The Transportation Ministry will be responsible for the project in cooperation with the security establishment and security companies.
