(JTA) — Israeli police asked passengers on an El Al flight to test for swine flu after learning that a woman diagnosed with the condition in the United States was on the plane.
The woman is the seventh diagnosed case of the flu in Israel.
According to Ha’aretz, she was on flight El Al 008, which landed on May 3.
The flu reportedly has infected 2,371 people in 24 countries and has killed 46 people, all but two of them in Mexico. The two other deaths were in the United States.
