WASHINGTON (JTA) — National Security Adviser Jim Jones will meet with "key leaders" in the Middle East.
A White House statement Monday said that Jones would meet this week with leaders in Israel, the Palestinian Authority and Saudi Arabia to "discuss the full range of regional challenges and opportunities at this critical time in the Middle East."
The travel comes as the Obama administration is pressing for an immediate resumption of Israeli-Palestinian talks.
