What will Rosy say?

Tonight is Lee Rosenberg’s inaugural speech as AIPAC president.

As this superb Chicago Tribune profile relates, Rosenberg, a venture capitalist and jazz enthusiast, likely would have ascended to the top position through his tireless campaigning for the lobby — but his closeness to a certain candidate Barack Obama didn’t hurt.

What he says in his speech tonight will suggest the flavor of what the White House is hearing not just from the usual Jewish establishment leaders, but from Obama’s Jewish friends.
