(JTA) — The newest edition of Jewish Major Leaguer baseball cards features the Jewish players of the 2000s.
The 50-card set of the 2010 edition includes the 29 Jewish players of the past decade.
The sixth edition of the cards will be the last, the producers of the cards have announced.
JewishMajorLeaguers.org has released a card for each of the 162 Jewish baseball players through the 2009 season.
The 50-card set includes the 29 players, career leaders cards and a decade-leader stat card. Also in the set are cards honoring Commissioner Bud Selig; the president of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Jeff Idelson; and the head of the Major League Baseball Players Association, Michael Weiner, along with two of his predecessors, Marvin Miller and Donald Fehr.
