(JTA) — President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are scheduled to meet in Washington on July 6.
The meeting comes more than a month after Netanyahu canceled a June 1 meeting following Israel’s deadly raid May 31 on the Turkish-flagged, Gaza-bound flotilla.
White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel confirmed the visit Sunday on ABC’s "This Week" program.
Next month’s meeting will be Netanyahu’s fifth with Obama at the White House. The leaders are scheduled to discuss the peace process and security.
