(JTA) – A Toronto day school is the only Jewish school in North America to be accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization.
The Leo Baeck Day School, affiliated with the Reform movement, underwent a seven-year accreditation process.
The International Baccalaureate Organization, established in 1968 to promote K-12 education aimed at creating global citizens, works with more than 3,000 schools in 140 different countries.
The Leo Baeck school was founded in 1974 and is the only Reform day school in Canada. Its two campuses serve nearly 900 students from nursery school to eighth grade.
