(JTA) — Philadelphia’s Jewish Exponent has been named the best overall weekly newspaper in the state of Pennsylvania and in the Philadelphia region by professional organizations.
The Keystone Pro chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists bestowed the state award on the Exponent for the second year in a row.
The Philadelphia Press Association cited the paper for the best overall weekly coverage in its region.
The awards were among 20 received by the Exponent from state and local journalism competitions for work published in 2010.
