This morning at the Republican Jewish Coalition’s presidential candidates’ forum:

* Rick Santorum said: “The president, for every thug and hooligan, for every radical Islamist, has had nothing but appeasement.”

* Jon Huntsman said regarding Iran: "It will be very difficult to get the Chinese and the Russians on board. We as a country better be prepared for the conversation when 3 years from now Israel asks: Are you with us or not? The nuclear proliferation has disastrous complications for the region…. For me all options are on the table."

* Mitt Romney said: “Ultimately, regime change is what’s going to be necessary” in Iran. He also said: “President Obama has immeasurably set back the prospect of peace in the Middle East.”

Newt Gingrich is speaking now. After that, Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann will be speaking.

Ron Paul, who wasn’t invited — because, the RJC says, he’s an extremist — elaborated on his views toward Israel in an interview with NewsMax.
