(JTA) — A Jewish group in Norway reportedly has asked Oslo police to begin registering anti-Semitic incidents following an uptick in their occurrence.

Members of the Det Mosaiske Trossamfund organization say they have experienced 11 incidents of harassment, vandalism and threats in the last month, the News and Views from Norway website reported, citing the Vart Land newspaper.

Among the incidents are threatening letters, Nazi salutes, and rocks and bottles thrown at a synagogue in Oslo.

Police reportedly told the group that there have not been enough incidents to warrant official registration.

Approximately 1,000 Jews live in Norway.
