A new poll has found a tight race between Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and his Republican challenger, State Treasurer Josh Mandel.

The Columbus Dispatch poll found the two men tied at 44 percent in the Senate race. (The poll also found President Obama and Mitt Romney tied at 45 percent in the state.)

Other polls in the Senate race have yielded varying results: One also found a tie and another found Brown leading the Jewish Republican by only one percentage points. But two other polls found Brown up by seven and ten points respectively.
