(JTA) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a possible Republican presidential candidate, said he will likely lead a trade mission to Israel this year.

Walker said Monday in Madison that he has had “multiple requests” for the trade mission and “we’ll probably try to figure out some way to do that,” the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. It would be his first visit to Israel since becoming governor four years ago.

Walker has said in recent weeks that he is seriously considering running for president in 2016.

Last year he addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition’s annual conference in Las Vegas hosted by Jewish casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, who reportedly donated $93 million to Republican candidates and issues during the 2012 presidential election.

Adelson last year gave $650,000 to the Republican Party of Wisconsin, which then gave Walker’s campaign more than $450,000 for his successful reelection bid, according to the Journal Sentinel.
