(JTA) — Matisyahu gave a surprise concert to campers and staff at a modern Orthodox summer camp in Pennsylvania.

On Monday, the reggae star showed up at Camp Moshava in Honesdale, where his children are campers, the Arutz-7 news website reported. He performed his hits “One Day,” “Sunshine” and “Jerusalem,” among other songs.

Before Matisyahu sang “Jerusalem,” which he performed in Spain last year while facing down anti-Israel protesters, one of the camp officials gave the campers a lesson in Zionism, according to the news website. The official broke down when announcing Matisyahu would perform the song and was embraced by the formerly Hasidic musician.

Camp Moshava is part of the Bnei Akiva religious Zionist youth movement.
