An Israeli photographer won a Pulitzer.
Oded Balilty of the Associated Press was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for breaking news photography Monday for a snap-shot showing a female settler facing off with Israeli police at the West Bank outpost of Amona last year.
The photograph has won numerous other prizes.
