An Israeli pharmaceutical company reported record sales for the second quarter of 2008.
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries showed net sales of $2.82 billion, beating analyst expectations by several billion dollars, the Israeli business daily Globes reported.
The record sales were attributed in part to the success of the multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone, which was Israeli researched and produced.
