(JTA) – Israeli forces raided a village in Lebanon and captured two men.

Troops arrested two brothers in Bilida, a village in south Lebanon, both in their 50s, Israel Radio reported late Friday; the reason for the raid was not clear.

Hezbollah, the terrorist group that launched a war against Israel in 2006, is believed to have return to south Lebanon in violation of the ceasefire that ended the war; Israel has also sought to stop drug-running across its border with Lebanon.

UNIFIL, the U.N. multinational force that polices the area, was negotiating with Israel for the release of the brothers, the radio report said.
