JERUSALEM (JTA) — A Palestinian woman stabbed an Israeli security guard at a checkpoint north of Jerusalem.
The guard, 28, was taken to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital with a two-inch deep stab wound in his abdomen. The woman, 21, of the West Bank town of Ramallah, was arrested.
The attack followed a day of Arab rioting at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, though was not clear if the stabbing attack was related, according to reports.
