JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel’s military called off a West Bank raid after a soldier posted the details on Facebook.
The soldier posted the time and place of the raid on his status update, as well as the name of his unit, according to reports.
Facebook friends reported the soldier to the Israel Defense Forces, Haaretz reported, and the soldier has been removed from combat duty.
The operation was rescheduled.
