A new government strategy to redefine ties with the Diaspora to be “less patronizing and more humble” will be unveiled on June 22 in a policy report being developed jointly by Cabinet Secretary Ovad Yehezkel and Alan Hoffman, director-general of the Jewish Agency’s Education Department, The Jerusalem Post has learned.

And the story goes on and on as Knesset members try to tell us who’s boss. This is not a dig at the JPost. It’s directed at those who the JPost covers. Thank you Israel for condescending to our level. It is we who are humbled.

Jeez. A country finally starts to pull a fraction of its own philanthropic weight, and look who the big shot is.
