To the Editor:
In reaction to British and Spanish tourism authorities declining to participate in a recognized OECD tourism conference in Jerusalem, this American must take action in response to the politicization of an area intended to bring countries closer together. I, my family and my friends have struck both countries off our tourist destination list.
I should add that as one who has lived in London for two years, and obtained his doctorate there, I do not take this decision lightly, nor do I repudiate the kindnesses shown me in the past in both countries.
