Ten thousand persons attended funeral services yesterday for Dr. Joshua Thon, prominent Zionist leader and former chairman of the Jewish deputies in Parliament, who died Wednesday at the age of 66.
Delegations were present from Jewish communities of Warsaw, Luow and other cities, the Cracow city president and the governor of the district. Chief Rabbi Moses Schorr recited the memorial prayer.
