The sum of 1,000,000 pounds was allocated today for completion of the Jerusalem Convention Center, the Binyanei Hauma, so that it will be ready for the World Zionist Congress next July.
Final construction on the convention building, which has been used for meetings, exhibitions and various international conferences, will include beating and air-conditioning installations and renovation of the auditorium which now provides seating on temporary benches for 3,500. Permanent seats will be provided for 3,200 persons.
