2 Jews Named to Public Office by Jersey Governor

Two Jews were appointed to public office today by Governor Morgan F. Larson. Jonas Tumen was named prosecutor of Monmouth County and Magistrate Morris Umansky of Union City was advanced to judge of the district court in the first judicial district of Hudson County. Mr. Tumen was appointed to a county that was once the hot-bed of Klan activity.
