Twenty thousand persons have abandoned Judaism and become converts to various Christian sects in Hungary since the end of the war, according to statistics published here by the Hungarian Statistical Review.

The conversion epidemic is a cause of grave concern to Jewish leaders in Hungary, it is stated here.
