It was officially announced today that the total number of Jews who have been requested to submit documents in connection with the revision of nationality law is 395,183. Of this number, 143,254 are of Transylvania, 75,319 of Bukowina, 96,934 of Bessarabia and 79,676 of Old Rumania. The citizenship of those whose documents have not yet been submitted will be revised ex officio in accordance with the existing law.
