Over 500 members of Zionist youth groups, led by a contingent of service men and women, today picketed the British consulate here, protesting against British policy in Palestine.

The pickets carried placards reading: “British Betrayal Begins Where Hitler Left Off.” “Java, China, Palestine – One Front.” “No American Aid for British Betrayal.” “Stench of Oil in Holy Land.”

A delegation of the demonstrators attempted to see the Consul-General, but he sent out word that he was too busy. A detachment of police observed the picket line, but did not molest the marchers.
