The Norwegian Government has decided to permit 600 Jewish displaced persons from the German camps to settle in Norway, according to a report from Oslo received today by the World Jewish Congress.

A request for the admission of Jewish DP’s was made last February by Rabbi Mordecai Nurock, World Jewish Congress leader and former minority leader in the Latvian Parliament, to King Haakon of Norway.
