The 63 contributors to a new book, “Bible Words That Guide Me,” have donated all of their royalties to the National Conference of Christians and Jews, it was announced today, by Dr. Lewis Webster Jones, president of the Conference.
“The generosity of these contributors to the National Conference is particularly appropriate,” Dr. Jones said, pointing out that they are men and women of different faiths who are acknowledged leaders in many walks of life. The book is a compilation of statements about what the Bible has meant to each of the three score contributors. They include clergy men, prelates, statesmen, teachers, actors, newsmen, businessmen, educators, artists and authors.
