76,611 Jews Till Soil in Russia

There has been a twenty-five per cent gain in the number of Jews working the soil in Russia since the revolution, according to figures just published at the All-Russian Husbandry Exhibition being held here.

During the past year. 76,611 Jews were registered as tillers of the soil. In 1913, the number so engaged was 52,758.
