A 21-year-old Israeli tourist who was shot during the Brazilian Carnival celebrations left a Brazilian hospital. Moran Bonfleck faced two weeks of intensive medical care and media coverage. Bonfleck was seriously injured by a stray bullet from a gang fight in the city of Olinda, where she and an Israeli friend were celebrating the holiday.
