Aaron Abraham Kabak, one of the leading Hebrew novelists, died here today from a heart attack. He was 62 years old.
Kabak, this year, won the Bialik Prize for literature. He was engaged in writing a novel on Jesus. A son of a rabbi, he received Jewish religious education in the city of Smorgon, Lithuania, where he was born, and studied later in the University of Geneva. He was the author of a number of Hebrew novels, some of which were translated into other languages.
