A book on synagogue textiles won an award for the most beautiful Czech book of the year. The competition was run by the Czech Republic’s Ministry of Culture and the Museum of Czech Literature. “Textiles from Bohemian and Moravian Synagogues,” which was produced by the Jewish Museum in Prague, won Thursday in the category of scientific and professional literature.
