A contest is seeking submissions from would-be authors of Jewish children’s books. The 21st annual Sydney Taylor Manuscript Competition, operated by the Association of Jewish Libraries, will present $1,000 to the best fiction manuscript by an unpublished author for readers aged 8-11.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
