In the issue of Sunday, April 9th, the Jewish Daily Bulletin carried a boxed dispatch from Berlin quoting from an address by Adolf Hitler, in which he asserted that the “rebirth” of Germany had been achieved at a cost of 330 killed, 40,000 wounded and 100,000 driven from commercial life. These figures referred to Hitlerite victims and was not intended, as the Bulletin erroneously interpreted it, as a confession of the violence and boycotts practiced by the Hitlerites against Jews and other victims of the Nazis.
