A film about the origins of Judaism will air next month on public television. “Kingdom of David: The Saga of the Israelites” traces the biblical saga beginning with the Babylonian Exile in 586 B.C.E. and ending with the rise of Christianity and Judaism’s survival. It is slated to air on PBS on May 14 and May 21.
