A former prosecutor lied when he said he and the judge kept Jews off juries in capital cases because they won’t vote for the death penalty, an investigator said. Judge Kevin Murphy ruled Tuesday that John Quatman lied when he told a California court recently that the late Stanley Golde told him he wanted to keep Jews off juries in capital cases because they would never vote for the death penalty.
