A Hungarian Holocaust survivor who later won 10 Olympic medals in gymnastics was inducted in New York into the International Women’s Sports Hall of Fame. Agnes Keleti won her medals at the 1952 and 1956 Olympics, and later moved to Israel. Keleti survived the war by purchasing the papers of a Christian girl and escaping to a small Hungarian village, where she worked as a maid.
