A Jewish reading room will be inaugurated at the Russian State Library in Moscow. The holdings of the library, known during Soviet times as the Lenin Library, include tens of thousands of books in Yiddish and Ladino, as well as one of world’s largest collections of medieval books in Hebrew.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
