The conference of Soviets which has just been held in the Cherson district has ratified the decision recently made by the local authorities to establish a Jewish region in the district of Cherson.
The Jewish region will include the old Jewish colonies of Great and Little Seidemenuche, of Bobrovij Kut, all the new agricultural settlements of the district and probably also the colony of Lvova. It is expected that the work of preparation will be completed by July or August, and that the region will be formally inaugurated on October 1st.
