A Latvian Jewish leader appears likely to become the country’s next foreign minister. The center-right New Era Party, the winner in last week’s parliamentary elections in the Baltic nation, said it would nominate Grigory Krupnikov, a long-time co-chairman of Latvia’s Jewish community, to the new Cabinet.
