A New York lawyer who helps represent Holocaust survivors asked a federal judge to allow attorneys to restart cases against German insurers. Burt Neuborne said the cases should be restarted if the firms fail to let an independent panel decide if they still owe money on unpaid Holocaust-era insurance policies.
