A Palestinian from eastern Jerusalem stabbed and lightly wounded an Israeli in the fervently Orthodox Jerusalem neighborhood of Mea She’arim. He tried to stab a second person but bystanders detained the attacker and handed him over to the police. The suspect had been arrested 14 years ago for a similar offense.
