A Palestinian on trial for allegedly plotting last year to bomb New York City’s subway system testified that he wanted to kill as many Jews as possible. Gazi Ibrahim Abu Maizar also said he came to the United States because “the United States should be punished for supporting Israel.” But Abu Maizar, who is being tried along with Lafi Khalil, denied that he planned to detonate any bombs in the subway.
