A Palestinian rocket fired at Israel fell short, killing a Palestinian boy in the Gaza Strip. There was no claim of responsibility for the rocket that struck a home in Khan Younis on Thursday, killing the boy and seriously wounding his brother. The Palestinian Authority, whose security forces have clashed with Hamas terrorists as part of a burgeoning power struggle in Gaza, said the deadly salvo proved the P.A. contention that rocket fire “harmed the national cause.”
