A recently completed arms deal with the People’s Republic of China has boosted Israel’s international arms trade to $1.2 billion per year, reportedly making it the world’s 10th largest weapons exporter, according to Jane’s Defense Weekly. Jane’s, a recognized authority on international military sales, said Israel’s military exports increased by more than 20 percent during the last two years, The Los Angeles Times reported. No details on the deals with China were provided.
