A Reform Jewish leader is calling on all faith groups to intensify their cooperation in the new millenium. In a statement sent last week, Rabbi Sheldon Zimmerman, the president of Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, urged Catholic, Protestant, Jewish and Islamic organizations to expand their dialogues into programs to fight hunger, disease and prejudice.
