A second major organization is opposing a Jewish-sponsored bill to extend religious freedom in the workplace. In the coming days, Americans United for Separation of Church and State is expected to announce its opposition to the Workplace Religious Freedom Act, which would allow workers to seek accommodation for their religious practices as long as they don’t create undue hardship for their employers.
