A third compound opened this week in Gondar, Ethiopia, for the roughly 10,000 Ethiopians gathered there awaiting the chance to make immigrate to Israel. The latest compound, sponsored by the New York-based Struggle to Save Ethiopian Jewry, will provide food to pregnant women, nursing mothers and all children under the age of 5.
