A U.S. senator wants NATO’s commander to report on the feasibility of sending NATO troops to Israel. Sen. John Warner (R-Va.), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told U.S. Gen. James Jones, the military commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, that he believes NATO could contribute to Middle East peace.
